About Us
Our story
Tucked into the vibrant heart of Battersea, The Victoria has stood proudly on Queenstown Road for over a century. Originally known as the Victoria Hotel, this beloved corner pub has been serving the local community since the early 1900s. Back then, it was listed under the former name of Queen’s Road, before the street became known as Queenstown Road in 1944.
Over the decades, The Victoria has evolved with the times — undergoing a series of transformations, including a brief spell under the name Browns, before returning to its roots and reclaiming its original identity.
Our distinctive wedge-shaped building and prominent position at the industrial end of Queenstown Road have made The Victoria a local landmark. Inside, you’ll find a unique and welcoming space, where vintage typewriters line the walls and good times are always on tap. With pool and table-tennis tables in the back room, we’re more than just a pub — we’re a community hub.
Today, The Victoria continues to offer a relaxed, unpretentious space for everyone — whether you’re here for a quiet pint, cocktails with friends, or to soak in Battersea’s spirited nightlife. Our story is one of tradition, transformation, and timeless good vibes.
